In the Green Advantage flyer there is a $3 off 1 Sundown Naturals Vitamins 120 count or larger.

That means you get a total of $4 off the vitamins. It has been mentioned on savingwellspendingless.com that there are some varieties that hit the 120 count or larger requirement starting at $3.59.

Its not a big money maker but it would make for a good donation item. If you see any of the varieties that qualify for this comment below. I'm going to Publix today so I will check it out. Hopefully they have not run out like they always do.

Its funny because this morning I posted about a good deal to get Orlando Sentinel subscriptions through The Simple Truth Foundation. However, today I stumbled upon this one:

1 full year of the Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, newspapers delivered to your home for $15. That is absolutely the best deal I have ever seen on the Orlando Sentinel.

Coupon Classes & Cheap Orlando Sentinel Subscriptions

If you need info on how to get started couponing, The Simple Truth foundation has a program that can help you out. They have teachers who will visit your home to teach you, and a minimum of 10-12 of your family and friends all about couponing. Plus, whoever hosts the class in their house gets a $20 or was it $25 Publix gift card (if they are still doing this). Last time I took a class was in November and they gave me a Publix gift card for hosting it.

Their classes are FREE. They teach couponing in the hopes that people will get into it and start stocking up on things so much that they will donate food and other products to the homeless shelters and food banks they work with. They said that the bad economy we are facing has caused less donations so they are trying to help couponers in the hopes that they will give back.

For example, vitamins and medications frequently go on sale and I don't even need them but I buy them because I made money off from them. For example, the Sominex and Phayzme that I bought because I made $2-$3 off buying 2. I don't use this stuff, I didn't even know what it was until I bought it. I have like 8 boxes each of Sominex, Phayzme, and Exlax because of these types of sales. I'm going to donate mine.

Or sometimes pasta, canned items, and boxed dinners go on sale and with coupons they cost just a few cents. This makes it easier for people to afford buying a whole bunch and just donating it. Ok, ok, I'm talking a lot...

Most importantly, you must get 2 subscriptions to your local major newspaper to get the Sunday coupon inserts. You must get them in sets of 2 because when a product is BOGO you need 2 copies of the same coupon. Where I live the Orlando Sentinel is the best source for coupon inserts. The Simple Truth Foundation has paired up with them to offer couponers a better price on newspaper subscriptions especially since they know we most likely will buy more than one. This is simply the best deal out there. You can get a 13 week subscription for $24.55 which includes newspaper delivery Wednesday through Sunday. Sunday is the most important one, but every now and then I get special Publix coupons (like the $5 off $30 coupon that came with the Viva Italia sale flyer that came on Wednesday) or you get retailer coupons like the Bealls and JC Penny's $5 off your purchase of $25 or more. Anyways, the subscription costs $24.55 but you get back a $10 Publix gift card in the mail 3 weeks after you subscribe, thus making it $14.55 per subscription.

Trust me, the cost of the subscription will pay itself back in a matter of 1 to 2 weeks. You will save tons of money by having the Sunday coupon inserts.

In my household of 2, I only need 2 subscriptions and I get everything that I need and more. In a family of 4+ I would probably get 4 subscriptions because you probably go through food and other items much more quickly. I believe the Orlando Sentinel has a limit of 4 subscriptions per household. Don't forget that if you live in the Central Florida area you might be getting El Sentinel delivered to your house every Saturday which has the same exact coupon inserts as the regular Orlando Sentinel Sunday newspaper. The best part is that El Sentinel is FREE. However, I'm getting reports for some people that they have not been receiving El Sentinel for weeks now. It is the newspaper that arrives on Saturdays in the red and white bag dropped on your lawn.

Post Honey Bunches of Oats Upcoming Deal at Publix

I'm very surprised at all the fabulous cereal deals at Publix last week and now the new ad coming out this week too. This is definitely the time to stock up on cereal. Hopefully you were able to grab lots of cereal with the 50% off Kelloggs deal. If you missed out or just don't like Kelloggs brand cereals, Post Honey Bunches of Oats is going on sale starting Thursday February 23rd in the central Florida area.

Post Honey Bunches of Oats, BOGO $3.29 (this price may be more or less in our area)
- $1 off 1 Honey Bunches of Oats printable coupon found HERE and HERE. Print out 2 of these to get $2 off. This coupon is for the Post Honey Bunches of Oats Fruit Blends variety.

If you don't like the Fruit Blends variety, there is still a $1 off 2 Post Honey Bunches of Oats coupon in the January 15th Smartsource insert. Thus making your total $2.29 for 2 boxes, or $1.15 each. Still not a bad deal if you eat this cereal anyways.

Stock Up Worthy Cereal Deals at Publix

Today and tomorrow only Publix has 50% off ALL sizes and varieties of Kelloggs cereals. I have never seen a cereal deal like this over the past year that I have been couponing so I made sure to take advantage of it.

First off gather your coupons.
coupons.com has various Kelloggs coupons so check it and and print 2 of each one.


By far the hottest Kelloggs cereal coupon is the $5 off when you buy 5 Kellogg's cereal boxes any size and any variety. You can find this on coupons.com by using the zip code 90014. I was lucky to get 2 of these last night, I'm not sure if they are still available today.

The January 8th Redplum has a $1 off 3 Kelloggs coupon.

Target.com has a $1 off 2 boxes of Kelloggs.

Lastly, the Kelloggs website has coupons but you need to sign up. Click HERE.


After you have your coupons race to Publix so you have the best selection possible. I can only imagine that by tomorrow the good stuff will be gone. Make sure to get the value/family sized boxes if you can. This is what I bought today:

This is an amazing week at Publix because of their once a year Viva Italia Sale event. This is the first time I participated in this event because I started couponing last year in March. This sale is the perfect opportunity to stock up on lots of common household goods to last you months. I woke up early and got to my local Publix as soon as it opened to make sure nothing was out of stock.

I paid $29.75 for $91.94 worth of items. Below is what I did:

Please note that the last post I made about Publix which highlighted some of the best deals occurring during this weeks sales had quite a few errors or price/coupon differences for people who live in Florida. I did not realize this until I started looking for the coupons and noticed they were different values or I simply did not have them in my regions newspaper inserts. Since I get my sales info mostly from southernsavers.com which is stationed in Georgia, there are always differences in prices and coupons compared to where I live.

Pair up the green advantage flyer coupon with the $3 off 2 Nivea products coupon found in the February 12th edition of Redplum and get 2 lip products for FREE.


I probably post the most about deals at Publix because in our area its the best store around. Here in Central Florida we only have Publix, Wal Mart, and Target, as our main major grocery chains. I know that in other states you have more variety of stores.

I just found out that YouTube offers a selection of movies for Free. There is also the option to rent other movies, especially newer releases starting at $1.99 for a 24 hour rental.

Publix: Stock Pile Worthy Deals Feb 8th or 9th 2012

In the central Florida region the new Publix weekly sales flyer has been issued. Below are what I consider to be the absolute best deals to grow your stockpile.

Duncan Hines Moist Deluxe Cake Mix: Buy one get one free $2.09
-$0.35 off 1 Duncan Hines coupon found in the February 5th Smartsource insert. You must have 2 of these so that you can put one coupon on each box of cake mix.

= $1.39 for 2 boxes of cake mix, or $0.70 each.
I'm sure these will come in handy for any upcoming birthday parties and celebrations. I know I always am in need of some cake mix. Cake mixes tend to not expire quickly, but just in case make sure you always check expiration dates so you know it will not go to waste.

Post Cereals, select varieties: Buy one get one free $3.93
- $0.55 off 1 Post cereal coupon from January 15th Smartsource insert, get 2 of these coupons
= $2.83 for 2 boxes of post cereal, or $1.42 each

Barilla Pasta Sauce 24 oz: Buy one get one free $3.03

Some of us might not have the $1 off 1 coupon, but instead got a $0.55 off 1 coupon. This is because this coupon value varied across regions of the country. If yours was the $0.55 off 1 coupon then you will be paying $1.93 for 2 jars which is still not that bad considering how much they regularly cost.

Lysol Disinfectant Tri gger Spray 22-32oz: Buy one get one free for $2.69
- $1 off 2 coupon from February 5th Smartsource insert
= $1.69 for 2 or $0.85 each.

This sale does not happen often, at least in my area so I definitely stock up on these. I use them to clean everything, especially the one that has bleach in it.

Remember, for every item you can use 1 store and 1 manufacturer coupon together. So you will be using 2 coupons on each bag of chicken, for a total of 4 coupons used overall on this deal.

= $4.20 for 4 packs if you have 3 $0.60 off coupons, or $4.80 for 4 packs if you only have 2 of the coupons like me. But still, its just over $1 for each pack which is great considering the variety I like is around $2.60 each.

Get 2 bottles of Ocean Spray juices FREE by using the buy one get one free coupon found on the Ocean Spray facebook by clicking HERE. You must be signed into your facebook and click the like button on the Ocean Spray facebook.

Publix policy will give you both juices for free. I'm not sure if Winn Dixie policy is the same but its worth trying out. If anyone got both free at Winn Dixie please comment below to confirm this.
